New to Clash: the first card on every platform is Clash Plus. Its first launch walks you through subscription import, system-proxy takeover, and mode selection end to end — follow the prompts and you're set up in minutes.
Already have some experience: on desktop, go with Clash Verge Rev or FlClash — both run on the Mihomo core and support TUN mode plus subscription overrides. On Android, pick Clash Meta for Android, maintained directly by the core team.
Running a server or router: skip the graphical clients and jump straight to the Mihomo core section at the bottom of this page. Download the archive matching your architecture and run it from the command line with a config.yaml.

Do the download buttons always link to the latest version?
When the page loads, a script reads a version manifest and resolves each download button to the current release URL. If that lookup fails, the fallback link built into the button still points to a working release file. The version numbers shown on each card come from the same manifest, so they stay in sync with the actual downloads without the page itself needing constant edits.
Which client should I pick on Windows?
For a first install, work through the cards in the order shown: Clash Plus has the most complete setup wizard and suits complete beginners; Clash Verge Rev is full-featured with the largest community knowledge base; FlClash ships a portable zip that needs no installation; Clash Nyanpasu suits advanced users who need profile merging and script overrides. Clash for Windows is no longer maintained and is kept only as an archive — it's not recommended for new installs.
Clash for Windows is no longer maintained — can I still use it?
The archived build still runs, but it no longer receives feature updates or bug fixes, and support for newer protocol and config fields is limited. We recommend switching to Clash Verge Rev or FlClash: your subscription link imports directly into the new client, and rules and proxy groups carry over almost as-is, so migration is low-effort.
Windows SmartScreen or macOS blocked the installer — what now?
Most open-source clients aren't signed with a paid commercial certificate, so the OS shows an "unknown publisher" style warning — this is expected. On Windows, click "More info" then "Run anyway." On macOS, if the first launch is blocked, go to System Settings → Privacy & Security and choose "Open Anyway" at the bottom of the page to finish installing.
Android has arm64, arm, and universal builds — which one do I need?
Almost every phone released after 2016 should use arm64. If you're unsure of the chip or the device is older, pick the universal build — it's a bit larger but installs on any architecture. The arm build is only for 32-bit legacy devices. On first launch, you'll be asked once to authorize VpnService to set up the local tunnel.
What's the difference between the Mihomo core archive and a graphical client?
A graphical client is the core plus a UI — Mihomo is already bundled inside, so regular users just install the client and go. The standalone core archive targets servers, routers, and command-line environments: unzip it, run it from the command line alongside a config.yaml, with no GUI — configuration and autostart are entirely up to you.
